The SilverSky team consists of highly experienced biotech, medtech and pharma entrepreneurs and executives with complementary backgrounds.
We believe that the team is unique in its setup as most members have years of hands-on experience within the various disciplines that are crucial to successfully establish, finance and drive life science companies. The individual advisors’ professional experience and personal competencies collectively comprise commercial, scientific expertise, operational and turn-around management and finance. With prior careers as start-up entrepreneurs and CEOs, top-tier strategy consultants, biotech researchers and scientists and business development executives, the members of the SilverSky team have had operational experience with all topics of relevance in creating, running, and growing life science businesses.

SilverSky offers three different support methods dependent on the client’s individual requirements and goals:
1. Consulting
Our consulting focuses on joint development and implementation of financial strategies individually tailored to company requirements and vision. This relates to designing new or challenging existing business plans, as well as company expansion, capital acquisition, and buy-and-build activities. Our active guidance is always results-oriented and typically, but not exclusively, aimed at senior management of medium-sized life science enterprises. Our long-standing expertise comes from our strategy consulting foundations and ongoing connections with the renowned global McKinsey&Company. We thus set ourselves the highest of standards in providing sound advice in the pursuit of innovative solutions.
2. Interim management services
SilverSky offers individual management services fully customized to client needs. Utilizing our own in-house expertise in building enterprises, engaging with companies at an operational level, and experience with different methodologies, we specialize on company turnaround and growth strategy. This includes, but is not limited to, direct administration on a provisional basis, coordination of financing and fundraising, and support with cross-border establishment. Our extensive international network is key to the success of the latter.
3. Co-founding/active shareholder model
Our events, along with our personal engagement as coaches, represent two ways in which we seek to both uncover and stimulate novel technology ideas, nurturing them from inception and playing a decisive role in shaping their success. As entrepreneurs, we are energized by our involvement with transferring often high-risk R&D projects into disruptive innovations in the marketplace. We exploit our far-reaching professional network to secure fitting expertise or investment, and operate as active shareholder, interim management or board member as appropriate. In selected cases, we also invest directly in life science companies.
